HUM KISISE KUM NAHEEN Music by R.D. Burman, and with the usual interest in western music, this one's got a little bit of ABBA about it. Apart from a band in a club playing 'Honey Honey', in the background, there's a fantastic song-and-dance competition. The two friends/romantic rivals play together, and the music changes style each time the do their own thing. One section is distincly reminiscent of 'Mamma Mia', but who cares! Some great guitar, and synth moments, and big trumpet flourishes. This one's really made for foot tapping. The giant eye motif seems to be popular in Hindi movies, and here it is again. Also, check out the Vox Phantom guitar lookalike. |
